ODS Productions formerly named On D Spot Productions humbly started with young film-making enthusiasts, who, during their High School years, headed by their teacher and brother James Bacarro, have already shown such great love and interest in video making.

During college days, the group parted ways as each one has different universities to attend. Josiah Bacarro and Joseph Bacarro continued the journey bearing the group named 8th Street Productions. While Lew Andrew Avila with On D Spot Production.

Lew Andrew Avila brought the name On D Spot Production during his college days at Philippine Women’s College. With a college degree in Fine Arts major in Visual Communication, filming is always part of his nature. During his college days, he had the best in thesis, joined the school and local film fests which got nominated and won several awards from Best Director of Photography to Best Student Film.

Josiah Bacarro, having shown such interest in the craft in High School, continued with his passion for film-making. In college, his film garnered two major awards – Best Director and Best Cinematography and two minor awards during the University of Mindanao Film Fest. His film also won as Best Film during the First Kabataan ng Mindanao Film Fest in 2012.

As Josiah made waves in film-making and moved to work outside the Philippines, he handed the baton of leadership to his brother Joseph Bacarro. Joseph, who made great contributions and was a consistent awardee in Digital Art and Videomaking in AMA Computer College in his college years.

In the year 2015, Joseph has been doing well in his field of videography inspired by love and passion through life’s experiences. He shared the same passion to his former High School friends. Joseph decided to reconnect with Lew Andrew to build what they started and got back as one group.

Now, the team, with their continuously improving craft provides standard quality video projects around Davao City and around the country since 2015. They have covered weddings, debuts, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, marathons, and government agencies.

As the years go by, new members of friends from college and high school have joined the team. Karl Cedric Uy and Hernani Gamaliel Jethro Abrigo. In which each of them started assisting and now doing well creatively in their craft on video making.
